right now the only really option to navigate from Design Studio to "something" is to use OpenDocument for all the other SAP BusinessObjects tools (Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, Analysis Office, Analysis OLAP, ...) and to use the "receiving" part for items like BEx or WAD.
background here is that so far all the SAP BusinessObjects BI tools are only valid senders in the RRI interface but not a valid receiver, so you have to go via the workaround using OpenDocument
