Hi Connie,
Actually, I have submitted two SAP Incidents to BSI -- one was picked up and resolved very quickly, and I give them high marks for it. The other was picked up quickly, but not resolved, however it was just a request for information and not a significant issue, so I haven't worried much about it.
We are successfully running TF10 in PRD and have been for two months now. We are not using the Sync tool yet, though -- we still manually load TUB transports on the SAP side to match the NRQ bulletins on the TF side. I'll be tackling that setup in the next couple months, obviously.
I will also grant that our tax situation is simpler than many who are having the worst problems here -- we aren't in Pennsylvania. We have no state or local income tax and no out-of-state employees, so reciprocals and courtesy withholding don't apply to us.
We are not having performance issues and the like loading NRQ bulletins as seems to be plaguing quite a few people in this thread. I don't know what we're doing differently, but I can point out exactly what we did to install and configure our TF10 system, as I detailed every step in a series of blog posts beginning with BSI TaxFactory 10 Installation/Upgrade for SQL Server.
The other blog/document, published after my own, which seems to be helping many people is Rohit Vijay's BSI Tax factory 10.0 enhancements and SAP Configuration activities. Whereas mine is focused on initial installation or upgrade of the TF server (from a mostly Basis perspective), Rohit goes more into the post-installation configuration and customization that might be required for more complex scenarios and is probably more useful to Payroll business systems analysts and configurators.
We are currently running Cyclic 10.0.d and Regulatory Bulletin 039 (about to apply 041 in DEV, but not yet Cyclic e1).
Regards,
Matt
